Louvain Cooperation is an NGO of the Catholic University of Louvain. In Burundi, Louvain Cooperation operates in the fields of (i) Agriculture/Agroecology, Environment and Entrepreneurship; (ii) health, (iii) social health protection through Community Health Mutuals (MUSA). As part of the implementation of its program, the National Directorate of Louvain Cooperation in Burundi is recruiting a Coordinator of Sustainable Food Systems/Agroecology and Environment Projects (CDP-SADE). The contract is for an indefinite period (CDI) with a trial period of one year. The Project Coordinator will be based in Bujumbura with frequent trips within the country. He must be of Burundian nationality and hold at least a basic university degree in agronomy. A post-university degree (Master and/or Doctorate) in agronomy or other related disciplines is desired. He should have worked in the areas of food security, the environment and entrepreneurship. Have knowledge in agroecology and have worked in this field. Have at least 5 years of experience in the management of development projects and in the management of partnership relationships.
