The Government of the Republic of Burundi has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) to cover the cost of the project “Building Capacities in Burundi to implement the Enhanced Transparency Framework under the Paris Agreement” and intends to use part of the Fund to pay a National Consultant to pay a National Consultant in charge of assisting the Senior Consultant in designing, testing and operationalizing the MRV system for GHGs and strengthening the capacities of the parties stakeholders concerned on the lines of the IPCC 2006.
