On November 14 to 27, 2023, a survey was organized to monitor the dynamics of habitats in the three national parks of Burundi. The objectives of the descent were to identify possible changes in the habitats on the quadrants of the ecological trails pre-established in the Kibira, Rusizi and Ruvubu National Parks; to create herbariums of newly developed species on the sites or not identified for their conservation in the herbarium and for their subsequent determination; to identify the potential threats of these protected areas and to constitute a database on the evolution of ecosystem states over the years.
