The activities of the project are as follows:

Specific objective 1: Strengthening the system for collecting and posting information on the CHM-Burundi website

- Strengthen the Internet connection by acquiring an annual subscription premium for a guaranteed minimum bandwidth of 124 kbps;
- Organize a meeting with the 12 PFIs on the available information and the priorities to be taken in updating the site and posting information on the website;
- Organize a meeting in two stages, each time with 6 PFIs, to add information to the site and to discuss problems encountered;
- Organize a meeting with the 12 PFIs on results of updating the site and posting special information (events, photos, etc.) ;
- Provide the CHM with a laptop to allow the Interinstitutional Focal Points to post their information on the CHM website from the headquarters of the CHM-Burundian;
- Add information on all the web pages of the Interinstitutional Focal Points.

Specific objective 2: Strengthening systems for collecting, disseminating and exploiting information through non-web media

- Multiply the INECN Scientific Bulletin No. 10 dedicated to the Anniversary of 10 years of the CHM in Burundi, in 50 copies for its wide distribution;
- Multiply the strengthening of systems-of-collection-de-diffusion-and-exploitation-of-lument of the National Strategy and Action Plan for the CHM and disseminate it widely;
- Import a batch of books on the fauna and flora of Burundi and the Albertine Rift in favor of the library of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Institut Pédagogique Appliqué; -
Maintain the CHM-Burundian invertebrate collections by regularly adding alcohol and naphthalene balls and pinning formolized specimens to facilitate their long-term consultation.
