The Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA) is a broad alliance of various civil society actors who are part of the fight for food sovereignty and agroecology in Africa. These include African farmers' organizations, African NGO networks, specialized African NGOs, African consumer movements in Africa, international organizations that support AFSA's position, and individuals. Its members represent small-scale farmers, herders, hunters/gatherers, indigenous peoples; faith-based institutions and environmentalists from across Africa. It is a network of networks and currently has 30 active members.
