Carte des Paysages Protégés du Sud du Burundi à Makamba

Dans le cadre de la mise en place d'un corridor écologique reliant les Paysages Protégés (PP) de Makamba  au Sud du Burundi avec le Parc National de Gombe en Tanzanie, une cartes de tous les écosystèmes forestiers du Burundi vient d'être produite par l'Association "Cosenravtion et Communautés de Changement, 3C en sigles. Cette carte montre bien la superficie de quelques écosystèmes forestiers à inclure dans le systèmes des PP de Makamba à savoir: PP de Mukungu-Rukambasi (1406 ha), PP de Rukonwe (229,5 ha), PP de Muyange (103 ha), PP de Rubungu-Kibabwe (2036 ha), Kabonga (73 ha), Baraga (1000 ha), Mpakanira (786 ha), Mperehere (310 ha) et Shuza (786 ha).
