Dans le cadre de la mise en oeuvre du projet "amélioration de l'efficacité du système de gestion des aires protégées pour la conservation de la biodiversité au Burundi" financé par le PNUD, FEM et le Burundi, des chèvres ont été distribuées aux ménages riverains du PNK en communes Bukinanyana et Mabayi. L'objectif étant de promouvoir les activités génératrices de revenus auoturs des airesprotégées du Burundi.
