Le Changement Climatique est caractérisé par une modification des précipitations en intensité et en périodicité avec une augmentation de température dans un endroit bien déterminé. Ce phénomène inquiète le monde entier, raison pour laquelle le COP21 qui vient de se tenir à Paris a réuni 195 pays et un accord historique, ambitieux et contraignant sur la réduction des Gaz à Effet de Serres a été adopté, les détails dans ce bulletin numéro 5 de l'Association Burundaise pour la protection de la Nature (ABN).
